Recently, a new One Health Joint Plan of Action (2022 – 2026) was launched to address health threats to humans, animals, plants and environment.

- Aim – To create a framework to integrate systems and capacity to collectively better prevent, predict, detect, and respond to health threats.

- One Health capacities to strengthen health systems.
- Emerging and re-emerging zoonotic epidemics and pandemics.
- Endemic zoonotic, neglected tropical and vector-borne diseases.
- Food safety risks
- Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)
- Integrating the environment into One Health
About One health concept:
- It is an integrated and unifying approach that aims to sustainably balance and optimize the health of humans, animals, plants and ecosystems.
- It involves the public health, veterinary, public health and environmental sectors.
